LETTER: Support for Daffodil Appeal

I am writing in on behalf of Marie Curie to thank all of the amazing volunteers that took part and supported the 30th anniversary of our Great Daffodil Appeal this year in Sussex.

Throughout March and April, volunteer collectors and collection box co-ordinators raised an incredible £60,382.57 in your High Streets, garden centres and local shops.

Volunteers encouraged people to make a donation and wear the charity’s daffodil pin in support of Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal supporting people living with a terminal illness.

This sum covers the costs of over 3,019 hours of Marie Curie Nursing Care for someone with a terminal illness in the comfort of their own home.
