One of the first independent digital cinemas in the UK; an award winner as one of the top 10 bijoux cinemas in the country (The Guardian) and a vital element in the eclectic mix of the arts that we so proud of in Hastings.

Housed in a truly unique building in the High Street in the Old Town, supported by a number of enthusiastic volunteers, an amazing range of films are provided each week. Just check it out on the web. Last Sunday saw a full house of enthusiasts bidding for a brilliant range of film posters and lining up to buy a seat plaque designed by local sculptor - Leigh Dyer.

Local filmmaker Glen Veness spoke in glowing terms about the role the cinema has in the local community and I should like to applaud the efforts that go into running the cinema and encourage local residents to take full advantage of this fantastic amenity.
