LETTER: Thanks for generosity

Last Saturday, 11 June 2016, with the kind permission of Horsham District Council, nine members of Horsham Lions Club, and volunteers from our Friends of Horsham Lions, spent a total of four hours seeking donations in the Carfax, West Street and other locations in the centre of Horsham.

During this time and thanks to the generosity of the People of Horsham and indeed visitors to our town on that day we raised £258.76, which in these difficult economic times is extremely good.

Speaking on behalf of Lion President Clare Wilson, I can assure you that your donation will go some way towards supporting Horsham Lions Projects for local people. Lion President Clare would also like to thank all the people of Horsham for all the support they have given to Horsham Lions during the past two years of her presidency.
