LETTER: Thanks for help after a fall

Unfortunately I had a fall when walking to Waitrose and would like to take this opportunity to send my thanks to the kind people who immediately stopped to help me.

Many thanks to Julie, who called for an ambulance and answered many questions asked by the service, while at the same time handing me tissues to help stop the bleeding.

She stayed until the ambulance arrived and went before I had time to thank her.

Also to Owen, a fireman, who was advising and helping me to get comfortable and community nurse, Julie, who was driving by and kindly parked her car and came to give advice and help.

Finally, thanks to Chris and his ambulance team for their care and kindness and to several other people who stayed to see if they could help. My sincere thanks to you all.
