LETTER: Top treatment from unit

Last week I had an appointment at the endoscopy unit.

I was seen on time, I never felt hurried, the staff were very attentive and made me feel at ease. The whole unit was spacious, well organised, spotlessly clean and uncrowded.

During the procedure, I was kept informed of everything happening and made very comfortable. I cannot fault the treatment and felt very grateful to the NHS.

I asked one of the nurses what this would have cost if I had to pay – about £2,000!
