LETTER: Turkish baths as restaurant?
Following your article on November 25 concerning the future of the Turkish Baths in Friars Walk: just along the road below the Premier Inn there are two 'To Let' signs for restaurants.
With the Aqua restaurant and the Premier Inn’s own restaurant in Friars Walk and, next year, the Depot Cinema restaurant and café, surely to have another restaurant in this part of the town is an overkill?
Is the district council well advised to be spending £220,000 of council tax-payers’ money on such a speculative venture?
