It is astonishing that votes from 91 MPs were not recorded!

The result of this decision could have been quite the reverse if some 40 Labour, 25 Tories, 26 ‘other’ had voted!

For a Bill of this environmental magnitude to be decided in the absence of ‘91 members’ of Parliament ‘as vote NOT recorded’ by their names, its extraordinary and incredulous to say the least!

Now the green light has been granted to gas fracking organisations to commence drilling beneath National Parks and other areas of the beautiful British countryside, the signal to green environmental groups nationwide is a need to be vigilant and put on alert!

The Government has thrown down the gauntlet!

Members of Parliament who voted in favour of fracking for gas need to evaluate their position.

Tidal, wind and solar power is the environmental way forward for the energy needs of the UK and would work!

Fracking for gas requires vast amounts of water. It should not be utilised for fracking operations.
