LETTER: We won't vote for you again!

On 22nd March, Wealden District Council is to decide on planning applications, which, if approved, would destroy '“ for ever '“ much of our countryside around the rural village of East Hoathly.

If this development plan, motivated by sheer greed, is approved, we will lose our greenbelt and hitherto unspoilt countryside.

Other Wealden villages are also threatened. So, let’s say to the Tory-dominated Wealden Council, that if they recklessly destroy our villages, we will never vote for them again!

John Ormowe,

Ciderhouse, East Hoathly
