1066 Life Aid

I ATTENDED the free, two-hour 1066 Life Aid event at Bexhill High School on Sunday. The idea is to train people in simple skills to save the lives of family, friends and strangers.

It was very informative (and entertaining) and I came away feeling confident that I could help someone in cardiac arrest if the situaton ever arose

I hope it never does, though!

The team, very ably assisted by seven pupils, gave up their time and put a lot of effort into the event.

Sadly, not many people turned up but hopefully it won’t discourage them from holding more events and trying to save lives.
