24 hour care is needed at St Bart’s

I was very pleased to see the plans that Rye and Winchelsea Hospital have for expanding their services.

Living accommodation offering 24 hour care in the Rye area is urgently needed so it makes sense to expand the existing facilities at St. Bartholomews Court.

Patients have to travel a long way to have live-in accommodation with 24 hour accessible care, and for appointments with consultants.

Rye Hospital can offer these services so surely it should be possible for Social Services to help ARRCC in finding alternative accommodation to continue its work within the nine months’ notice they are being given.
