A big ‘thank you’

I HAVE attended the weekly Health Centre Warfarin Clinic for some 13 years to have my blood consistency checked and in all that time a volunteer named Beryl has been there to call the many waiting patients in for their test and to help stop the bleeding and stick a plaster on.

At my last appointment I was surprised to find that Beryl had left and on enquiry was told that it was to do with health and safety as she was not qualified.

I would therefore just like to say a very big thank you to her on behalf of the many thousands of patients she must have dealt with over the years.
