‘A fantastic day’
THE Chestnut Tree 10k Coastal Run was a fantastic day. We entered a team from Waitrose and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. The event was very well organised, the support from the spectators was brilliant and very much needed when the going got tough!
We had 11 runners and had trained for 10 weeks to get us up to speed. The enthusiasm from the team was great. We recorded some very good times and a few personal bests.
I would like to thank Waitrose for supplying us with the t-shirts and all family, friends and work partners who sponsored us.
We will be raising somewhere in the region of £600 plus for such a good cause.
