A little help from our friends

WE would like to take the opportunity of using the services of the Bexhill Observer to thank all our friends who worked so hard to ensure the success of the garden party held on Saturday.

Our thanks also go to the entertainers working throughout the day, giving their time freely, the lovely Bexhill Harmony Group, Chris Metalle on accordian, juggler, Dave Conway and Terry Carter, woodcarving demonstration.

Not forgetting, of course, the public, who, despite the inclement weather, came along and gave generously, raising a grand sum of over one thousand pounds for a very worthwhile cause, St Michael’s Hospice. Thank you one and all.

Alan and Maureen Francis,

Cranston Rise
