A sleazy and most unpleasant idea

I READ with concern the article by Nigel Jarrett that appeared in the Bexhill Observer on Friday November 19, concerning licenses for sexual entertainment.

Such entertainment mentioned included lap dancing, pole dancing, strip shows, peep shows and live sex shows.

As stated in the article “we have no sex entertainment venues in Rother”, and I think I can safely say that most people, and families with teenagers, would not want such establishments where people perform such degrading acts.

Most Popular

A large majority of the public would consider such entertainment to be sleazy and most unpleasant, and would absolutely mar our seaside town and the surrounding areas.

Rother should be proud of not having sex entertainment venues, and should discourage such unsavoury entertainment by not offering licences for it.
