A wonderful night for all of us

I would like to say a big thank you to the chairman and committee of the Sidley Friendship Club for the over 50s for taking about 36 members to see the wonderful pantomime Cinderella at the White Rock Theatre on Wednesday, December 16.

I’m sure everyone enjoyed it, also the lovely tea we had in the restaurant after the show.

The new interpretation of the story was acted very well and we all enjoyed joining in with songs etc.

I must say Jessie Wallace made a grand fairy godmother, despite having a bad leg.

We all laughed at the antics of the Ugly Sisters and Buttons, the Prince and Cinderella were ‘Charming’ too, as were the lovely costumes they all wore.
