An exercise in propaganda

Well I guess by now most of the houses in the South East will have received the government's pamphlet on staying in the EU.

This is a massive propaganda exercise and designed to instil fear into the general public to get them to vote to stay in.

Anyone would think that if we leave everything would change but this will not be the case.

We do not trade with the EU but with individual countries within the EU and there is no reason that they would not still wish mutual trade to continue, after all we buy more from them than we sell.

As for the European arrest warrant this might make life easier for the government but is a massive disadvantage to the people of this country.

In the UK a person cannot be arrested without evidence of a crime being committed.

In the rest of the EU there only has to be the suspicion of a crime and you can be arrested and put in prison while they prove your guilt or innocence, our police do not even have to be told what you are suspected of before they arrest you.

The EU arrest warrant might be a good idea if all European countries had the same standards of justice as the UK but they work on a completely different and unfair system.

There may well be some benefits to being in the club, all we have to do is give up our freedom to be a sovereign country.

In the past we have always been assured by politicians of all colours that whenever a new treaty was signed it would not result in any loss of sovereignty only for it to be a lie.

If it wasn’t a lie why are we now unable to govern ourselves? If you swallow this latest propaganda and vote to stay in Brussels will take this as a complete mandate to do whatever it pleases.

There is nothing on earth that would make me vote to stay in.
