‘Another fiasco’

TALK about shooting oneself in the foot – what is Arun District Council trying to do?

The theatre at the Windmill Entertainment Centre is one of the only things that is still good about Littlehampton.

The staff are brilliant, happy and always have a cheery word or a joke for everyone that visits it.

There have been countless times when my friends and I have had to go back another night or buy tickets in advance because the theatre was full.

It is such a comfortable place with good seating, and myself being only 5ft I can see fine.

Also, when I park at the theatre I tend to pop into the Harvester for a snack, from time-to-time. So the powers that be are getting three lots of revenue, and if you want to go in the afternoon you can shop and eat in the town and pop down to the pictures, a good day out or evening out.

I thought they were trying to get more people to go there, or is the idea to sell off the land? Is it going the same way as the hospital has – simply another fiasco?

If the theatre does go, Bognor will be getting my trade, in the future.
