Are future plans showing vision or just pap?

You will be aware that Nick Herbert MP has seen fit to make public Arun’s “Angmering Vision brief”, a document which we (the public) were not intended to have sight of at this time.

Presumably, we would have been included when it was too late to make any worthwhile comment or to influence any decision that may have been made as a consequence of the information in the brief.

It is incredible that a public body, supposedly working on our behalf, feels the need to keep such information from its “customers”. Is the council frightened of what we might think and say, or so arrogant as to believe its councillors and officers are the only ones who would be able to understand its full impact?

We understand! We understand that Arun seems to be doing its level best to build on the area east of Roundstone Lane, no matter what the cost to the public. Apropos cost; how much did the Angmering Vision brief cost? Or is this something else we will not be privy to?

As for the document itself, it is long on words, short on factual evidence – to be concise, 40 pages of pap!
