'˜Area is small'

If Arun District Council says it is happy to allow another approximately 8,250 houses before 2029, where are they going to go?

All the best available land is already taken so developers are now down to unsuitable or flood plane areas.

Drive up the A24 towards Crawley or through Kent or west of Chichester or northwards up the M1 and there is non-arable land aplenty – acres and acres of the stuff all empty, as far as the eye can see.

Can anybody tell me why we have to be crammed into this small space when there is so much land available elsewhere.?

Is it the council, the Government or the developers that insist on ruining the lives of the local residents?
