Band can play on

Bognor Regis, our neighbour, has two simple bandstands, both of which I have played in, and on every occasion there have been local people waiting for the band to start, even joining in and dancing, especially on the seafront.

Last week ,I enjoyed playing at the one in Hotham Park.

It was a most enjoyable occasion, both for the band and for the audience, many of whom were disabled. It was also a family affair.

At a guestimate, I would say that there were about 150 sitting round enjoying a free concert.

What a simple structure it is, as is the one on the sea front.
