Band plays on
I enjoyed the article with regards to the Top Hat (Gazette, May 8) which I visited many times in my youth.
With regards to the Ronnie Smith Big Band, I am glad to say that I am a current member, playing baritone and alto sax, and the band is still going strong.
So I thought that some of your readers might like to know that we can still be seen and heard every second Tuesday of the month at Shoreham Airport, from 8pm.

Entry is free and you can get food and drink from the bar, but please come early as the seats are taken up very quickly.
