Cllr Billy Blanchard-Cooper (our own BBC), to write on all things Littlehampton.

In this week’s column, Billy surpasses himself in visiting and promoting new and old businesses in the town. With this energetic promotion of the town and all the behind-the-scenes work by Littlehampton Town Council, we seem to be bringing life to Littlehampton, especially after the wonderful full-on activities by the previous year’s Mayor Cllr Ian Buckland.

Littlehampton, we are a unique family seaside resort. We have a great beach, a splendid river and sea promenade, one of the best greenswards, a revitalised Norfolk Road activity area, the engaging miniature train and children’s skate park,

The café and special greenery of Mewsbrook Park and its volunteers, our unique cinema and theatre, a marvellous Look and Sea Tower and café, a High Street with many exciting markets opening on a regular basis and shops that are constantly improving and a big bonus in the new leisure sentre and swimming pool to be built on the seafront.

There are just so many special features for us to be glad of and most importantly, we have our Littlehampton people of all classes, creeds and nationalities.

Littlehampton, be happy and appreciative. Get out there and enjoy everything.
