Benefits of ‘reforms’
If you, like me, have wanted to see your GP, then a wait of several weeks is necessary – they are busy, it seems, contributing to the new management structures required by the “reforms’” Like me, you’ll probably end up seeing a locum.
As the Willow Green Surgery spring newsletter puts it: “We do try our best to minimise the impact this has on our patients by employing locums to cover these sessions.

One can only imagine how busy our GPs will be when they take on the full responsibilities of the new regime. It will come as no surprise when locums will become a permanent feature of our surgeries.
