Better green grass than a mass of concrete

BEFORE anyone is tempted to back the proposed development north of the railway line, I would suggest they visit the current side at Toddington Lane, with its names Elysian ("the abode of the blessed") Fields and Eden Park – misnomers if ever there were!

Green fields and open space have been lost, replaced by cheek-by-jowl housing, a warren of ridiculously narrow roads and a "pond" reminiscent of an open drain in some distant third world country.

Support, instead, the anti-stand taken by the majority of the local councillors and keep the green, green grass beneath our feet!

They will surely listen to you and not to the advice given by unelected officers of the town council.

Support the councillors you actually elected, that is what democracy is all about.
