Beware of high cost phone numbers
When checking a recent telephone bill, it made me wonder how many people may have been caught out like myself when ringing up to enquire about an item advertised in a local free newspaper?
What I thought was a mobile number and should have been free from my landline, incurred me a charge of £0.88p per minute!!
So if a number begins 0704.... beware! This is not the usual mobile number and you could find an excessive amount on your phone bill which you were not expecting.
