What a sad day that we are going to see parking charges at Galley Hill car park and along our seafront.

As a private carer over the years I have taken many clients to this car park, parked up and looked out to sea. My elderly clients really enjoy this and it opens up communication and reminiscing. Also walked along the promenade.

My father and mother used to go to Galley Hill, park up with their sandwiches and flask. I myself used to take our grandchildren to the play park again using the car park. People go up there for lunch breaks or just look out to sea.

So many people of different ages use these areas to park up.

Bexhill is becoming a ghost town. This year we had Covid-19 which has not helped the town, but surely we need to look and review these two areas for the goodness of my home town which I have lived in all my life.
