There seems to be a anti motorhome society in Bexhill.

I myself live in Bexhill and do own a motorhome and use it regularly, myself and family have embraced everything Bexhill has to offer in way of events and kids love to stay out with myself and partner, we also make use of beach and I often night fish, however we do suffer some abuse. I was even approached and told, I bet I don’t even spend money in town, my van has also been broken into and vandalised.

I understand the people that own flats on the beach get frustrated, there view is blocked on some occasions however they own the flat, not the view or indeed the beach. Having a motorhome a lot of other places encourage them because they pay a charge and spend money in local eateries, bars and the likes.

Canterbury, Hythe , Arundel and several other places have such places called Aires, I personally use a site called ‘search for sites’, surely Bexhill could do same on Wainright Road which has been sat doing nothing for years, and myself being local would volunteer to manage this. Why should locals also be victims of a non friendly motorhome town
