Although we were event organisers in name, nothing could have been achieved without the immense input, support and contributions from the following people who crewed the good ship, ‘Team Littlehampton ‘.

Accordingly, our collective huge and sincere thanks goes out to the following people without whom it would not be possible to hold the event:

Arun District Council’s indefatigable Phil Graham, Wes and Gary Smart and all at Harbour Park, our sublime Master of Ceremonies Keith Croft for raising many a smile and for creating such a relaxed, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I want to praise the team from Inspire Leisure: Andrew Smith, Steph, Leanne, Lisa, Peter and Carrie from Inspire Leisure, for providing pre-run warm-ups and for their ever-welcoming presence.

The substantial and excellent marshal team from Parker Kittiwake, David Rendell, Terry Jenkins and fellow carnival committee marshals.

Eric Smethurst and flood defence construction company VolkerStevin for providing signage and oranges. St John Ambulance for providing medical cover throughout.

Who could forget the mighty Tyndall Jones who must be a candidate for best street collector on the planet.

Last but by no means least my family and friends, Barbara, Kirsty, Bren, James, Sam, Paul Butler, Jemma Jenkins for doing such a fantastic job.

Sincerest thanks and a big well done to all of you.
