Parliament’s official photographer was in the House of Commons Chamber to capture images of today’s Prime Minister’s Questions with the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson MP and the Leader of the Opposition, Sir Keir Starmer MP.

The session was made up of a mix of Chamber participation and remote participation.

A rather cynical attack on the Prime Minister by Diana Austin (‘How can ‘flawed’ PM carry on?’, May 29). With your permission I would like to offer another perspective.

The bottom line is that the coronavirus, fully fledged, entered this country without warning.

As soon as the nature of the virus became known the Government acted promptly, following advice from the medical and scientific community.

As for leadership, Boris Johnson is the right person at the right time. Himself a victim of the virus, Boris had proved his worth.

I can think of no-one more suited, or determined, to the task on this - and other matters.

So, lets have an end to negativity and start thinking positively.
