Boundary issues

I AGREE with everything P. Watson says (Gazette letters, March 15), as I, too, protested at the time regarding the boundary changes in Wick.

We were not informed of those changes, and they were not advertised in any of the local papers. The only newspapers they were in were the Chichester Observer, Bognor Journal, Worthing Guardian, even newspapers in Crawley and Mid Sussex.

We were not, therefore, given the opportunity to object to these changes.

Arun District Council decided on where the boundaries were to be changed, and the Boundary Commission then agreed.

Wick should never have been split in two. As a resident of Wick for the last 50 years, I still consider myself to be in Wick, not Ham ward.
