The Tiptree World Bread Awards celebrate the art and skill of bread making and these latest wins shown once again, just how passionate The Hungry Guest are about their loaves.

Made at their bakery on the edge of the Goodwood Estate near Chichester the handmade loaves triumphed in four categories with individual loaves being awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze accolades. Awarded gold was their ciabatta, a classic Italian favourite with a superb open texture while their Pain D’Alsace, baked as huge 2kg loaves was awarded a silver.

This is the second award for this product that also achieved a Gold Star at the 2012 Great Taste Awards.

Awards also went to the popular ‘5 Seed Sour Dough’, a firm favourite with visitors to their Petworth food shop along with ‘Sprouted Wheat and Date’, a relatively new bread to the ever expanding range.

Their full range of over 20 breads can be purchased 7 days a week from their shop in Petworth while they also attend the farmers market in Horsham every Saturday.

Regular appearances are also made at monthly markets in Haslemere, Worthing and Milford as well at events at The Weald & Downland Museum and West Dean Gardens.

Selected products in the range are also stocked at Waitrose stores across the southeast as part of their local suppliers range.
