Bring it on!

I WAS disgusted to read B.A.W. Stacey’s letter on the “hair-brained ideas” for Littlehampton seafront.

It has nothing to do with him, as a Rustington resident – there are two or three facilities there he can do whatever he likes with.

Entertainment is out of reach for most elderly people living near or on the seafront, so a bandstand would bring us added pleasure, for young and old.

I have heard we have some very talented youngsters who have to go further afield to display their talents, and it is about time we had the pleasure of seeing them perform locally, especially as it is on the cards that we are going to lose the Windmill facilities.

Us old ’uns still have that fighting spirit that we had during the 1939 to 1945 war.

We will not be cold-shouldered. Bring it on!
