Castlewood pupils visits Tesco’s

Pupils from Year 1 at Castlewood School went on a visit to the Tesco’s store at Broadbridge Heath.

The children were invited to go to the store as part of their topic work in conjunction with the Tesco’s project ‘From Farm To Fork’.

They spent their morning looking at the produce and products sold and analysing where the food had come from.

Joseph, aged 5, said: “I loved dressing up in my hat and apron. I felt really important using a clipboard.”

Claire Magwidi, Year 1 teacher, commented: “ Experiences like this really add the fun element to learning.

“We would like to thank Tesco’s for making us so welcome”.
