At Cats Protection our core aims are to rehome unwanted cats, to encourage neutering and to educate the public about cat welfare. Every year we help over 157,000 cats and kittens.

The majority of these success stories are thanks to the dedication and hard work of our amazing army of volunteers. We welcome new recruits with open arms and donating your time is a great way to support us and have fun at the same time. However much time you have to offer, there will be a role to suit you.

n June is also National Microchipping Month. It is aimed at encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership through microchipping as the preferred method of permanent pet identification.

Cats Protection microchips all cats adopted from us that are over 12 weeks of age, and to promote the benefits of microchipping. It’s also an opportunity to encourage members of the public to have their current pets chipped and to keep their details up to date on the microchip database.
