Celebrate the circle of life on Horsham walk

Celebrating animals in our lives: Sun. 17th May, 10.30 start ending 12.30pm the walk will be led by Horsham’s Healthy Walk Leader Jill Shuker.

A joyful family and dog friendly walk through woodland on firm surfaces. Whatever the weather we’ll walk, so dress accordingly. Ceremonies will be led by Jean Francis and Trish Norman. Bring pets, memories and also ashes of beloved pets to scatter. Meet at Roosthole Car Park, Hammerpond Road, Horsham, RH13 6PG.

Jill Shuker has been Horsham’s Healthy Walks Leader for 15 years; supported by her team of volunteer helpers, they lead walks throughout the beautiful Sussex country side. Such walks offer companionship, promote fitness and wellbeing and are a perfect opportunity to share the beauty and wonder of the cycle of nature.

Jill has a deep concern for our natural environment and her love of the great outdoors shines through in all that she does. She is a trained waste prevention officer; bringing awareness to the importance of re-cycling, waste avoidance and composting. She also supports Adopt-a-Street scheme, which encourages people to care for their communities and local environment through collecting litter to compliment the council’s street cleaning schedules.
