Charity hopes to smash target in A2B walk event

The Arundel to Brighton Walk is BACK! Last year this fantastic event raised £17,500 for the award winning charity The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for children with Cerebral Palsy. This year with your help we want to smash that target.

Sonia Milner, grandmother to Emily who attends the school is already in training and is asking for you to join her so the school can continue to help all the families that rely so much on the support and help the school gives them.

So, if you would like to do something INCREDIBLE that will not only give you a great sense of self achievement but benefit an extremely worthy charity, here’s how…..

On Saturday 13th September we will be ‘Taking a Walk on the Child Side’ by walking from Arundel to Brighton in aid of The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy which will be started by Sophia Warner, Paralympic Athlete.

With two walk distances available of 35km or 12km you can choose what would be suitable for you and still enjoy the staggeringly beautiful views and scenery which Sussex has to offer. Starting from the spectacular Arundel Castle, the walk will span across the magnificent landscape of the South Downs before finishing at Devil’s Dyke on the outskirts of Brighton.

Not only will this be a memorable occasion for everyone taking part, it also provides an ideal opportunity for you to do something fantastic with friends, colleagues and/or family. The event is open to everyone who likes walking or just fancies a challenge.

We have teamed up with the wonderful people at Pied A Terre Adventure to organise this event, so you can be sure that you will be well looked after. There will be regular refreshment stops, plenty of encouragement along the way and a well-deserved hot meal for all on completion. Plus once again we will have an exclusive mystery prize draw for all those fundraisers who reach the £120 target.
