Cheer Up Pensioners
IF only we could have two hours each morning in our De La Warr
With some old time music and songs we wouldn’t ask for anything more
Mornings would suit us fine - some may stay out for a meal
We don’t like turning out nights - not safe - that’s how we feel
Put your winter woolies on - sit outside a cafe in a chair
Or play hopscotch on pavement slabs or marbles in Devonshire Square.
