Children create crazy food figures at festival

Sainsbury’s Horsham and Food Rocks invited children to create a crazy food figure for the Little Nibble Children’s Food Festival.

The crazy food figure zone featured a wide range of foods provided by Sainsbury’s Horsham for children to create fun figures on the day, with amazing prizes for the winners of three age categories.

Pictured is the winner in the over 10 category – Jacob, winner in the 6-9 year category – Amelia, and the winner of the 5 and under category – Chloe.

Over 120 children took part throughout the two days and Derek Boarer, store manager of Sainsbury’s Horsham, said: “Wow what a fantastic day, we were delighted to be a part of the ‘Little Nibble’ event once again and the response was phenomenal.

“The children really enjoyed making their figures and as each day progressed the designs became more and more inventive.

“We’d like to thank Food Rocks and Horsham District Council for the opportunity and look forward to next year.”
