Chilly wait
I read with interest about homes being warmer in Wick this winter and that the work has been finished (Gazette, February 6).
I’m sorry, but despite what councillors Mike Northeast and Roger Elkins say, it has not been finished. The block where I live has not been insulated at all.
Under the same scheme, all properties were to have had central heating installed, but not all have been completed – a gas supply up to a meter was installed but for many that is as far as it has got.
Therefore, many homes will not be warmer this winter.
