Climping caravan site is a great idea

I THINK James Baird’s idea of a caravan site at Climping (Gazette, April 5) is wonderful.

A caravan site in the area is one of the best things that could happen, as, at the moment, we have nothing for the normal, working class holidaymaker.

Have people got nothing better to do with they lives but complain about people trying to improve the area and get Littlehampton back on the map, as far as tourists are concerned?

Arun District Council keeps banging on about regeneration, but all I can see, sorry hear, is, this is going to happen and that is going to happen, but up to yet – nothing!

Mr Baird is trying to move things forward and good luck to him. I have known the Baird family for some 40 years and I can see they have only done good for the Littlehampton area.

I hope Arun takes a leaf out of his book, and let’s get the regeneration on the move. Less talking, more action!
