Comfort from strangers after Littlehampton cat hit by car

I received a phone call at 11.30pm from a young man telling me the sad news.

He and a young lady stayed with her until I came to collect her. He helped to pick her up and put her in a bag for me to take home. He even offered to walk me home.

I texted him the following day to say thank you. I then heard the full story, he saw her get run over, he lifted her off the road and stroked her until she passed away in a matter of minutes.

He then told me his name was Ross and said the young lady was going home from work at the Locomotive Pub in a taxi, she saw what happened and stopped to help.

The kindness of these two young people was wonderful.

In this day and age when people complain about young people, it shows they are not all bad .

I am thankful to them both for their help.
