Congratulations one and all for fantastic procession

ON behalf of the entire Littlehampton Carnival committee, I am writing to congratulate and give heartfelt thanks to all of our entrants in the procession.

We would also like to thank the Littlehampton Community School Funk Band for coming to our rescue in the morning's entertainment, chairman of Arun District Council Don Ayling, town mayor Mark Butler, Bunces, Honeys, Petals and Buds and the Dolphin for their kindness in many, many ways, local traders and, of course, members of the public, for giving so generously while watching the morning and evening's entertainment covered up under umbrellas '“ looking cold, but all with smiles on their faces.

Lastly, but by no means least, I would like to give a massive thank you to everyone involved in the Littlehampton Carnival committee, working together like clockwork to make this event a success '“ word fail me on describing how special these people are.

A big thank-you to Tyndall Jones for his amazing collection abilities '“ he never stops!

Finally, huge thanks to Freda and Anthony Hughes, who give up their home to accommodate PA systems, collecting buckets, remnants of floats, various signs, trophies, the list is endless.

And for looking after all of the committee members throughout the year. We love you!
