Consider neighbours
I WAS very interested in an article in the Bexhill Observer of October 22 last year in which Rother District Council's planning committee turned down planning permission for Budgens.
My main interest was in the remark made by Councillor Deirdre Williams: “There will be impact on the neighbours and they are entitled to consideration as they were here first”.
I hope the planning committee remembers, and refer to, these words when considering the appeal to build a four-storey, 91 room extra care home in a small cul-de-sac of two-storey semi-detached houses in Camber Close.
These neighbours were also here first and are entitled to consideration of the impact on them.
