Cookery class for all abilities in Horsham

Horsham-based Health Champions is hosting a Saturday morning cookery class that will change the way you think about food.

The event is in response to the high number of people in the local area with health concerns such as a lack of energy and fatigue, heart conditions, high cholesterol, difficulty sleeping and Diabetes.

Denise Kennedy Registered Dietitian said: “The food we eat plays a key role in our health and it’s something that we can do a lot about.

“There’s a huge amount of conflicting information in the press and it can be difficult to know what is good for us and how to cook it”.

So take control of your wellbeing and join Denise and her team for a fun morning of cooking.

You’ll find out about everyday superfoods and how they can directly benefit your wellbeing. Learn how to make simple yet tasty Superfood meals and enjoy a delicious Superfoods lunch cooked by YOU!.

The class will take place at Forest School, Horsham from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday September 19 and costs £45 per person (this includes all ingredients, equipment and recipes.)

n Health Champions is a social enterprise company working in the areas of health and nutrition.

Running projects focused on weight management and improving individuals and families’ ability to cook healthy and tasty meals, courses include ‘Cook Yourself Slim’ focusing on cookery to help you to continue to lose weight and for families the focus on budgeting, encouraging children to try new foods and improving confidence in the kitchen.
