Could they not have got it right?

As I was the first person to travel on the new Hastings-Bexhill link road, I had reservations about the low lying sections because the valley quite frequently resembles the Lake District.

Well my fears came to fruition on Sunday, January 3, the road flooded and was only passable by straddling the centre white line.

This is disgusting as the road has only been open a couple of weeks.

I foresee this becoming a frequent problem as there are no drainage ditches either side of the road and the grass banks level out with the road.

At a cost of £120m you would of thought they would have got it right.
