Council needs to get its act together

I read in Observer that the Rye council want to clear the town of seagulls and yet they have objected to Sainsbury’s building a supermarket on land that is a real eyesore.

When entering the lovely town of Rye surely its most important that this site be put to use instead of trying to get rid of seagulls at what expense to the Rye rate payers.

Whatever you do with birds they will return.

For goodness sake get your act together council and clear up this awful looking site, it does not give credit to the town.

Also what do the visiting public think when visiting Rye?
