This was our second year of taking part and seven cubs were part of our group of 22 that returned to the South Downs.

Assistant cub leader Nick Layt organised the event for Parbrook Cubs. He said: “We are so lucky to have the South Downs on our doorstep. Despite strong winds and sometimes grey skies it stayed dry for our hike and the views from Bignor Hill were amazing. It was great to have so many families with us too.”

Cub parent Sarah Wilson who’s daughter Holly is Sixer of Blue Six at Parbrook Cubs said: “When Holly joined Parbrook we knew that there would be lots for her to do but we didn’t expect to get roped in too. They always ask parents along and it makes it a lovely family occasion.”
