Dark day for lights
MY partner and I recently added some solar-powered lights to our road-facing front garden.
She, being of a somewhat cynical disposition, was of the opinion that they would not last the week before someone would steal them. I, being of a far more optimistic outlook, thought her view did not reflect the basic honesty of people.
They lasted almost five weeks before all were liberated. My faith in human nature is surely vindicated!
