Define '˜early', Rother
HOW early is early? The September 2010 update published by Rother District Council on the Next Wave scheme states that 'the current programme allows for the completion of the shelters early in 2011.' The council's website has no further updates on when the shelters might be installed.
Now, I may just be cynical but I can’t help wondering whether in fact “early” means after the elections in May so that the obvious expressions of public opinion once they are installed does not affect people’s voting in the local elections.
Come on, Rother. Get the shelters installed soon, so we can all see what they look like before we vote.
