‘Deplorable’
I HAVE had the Windmill in my mind, ever since I learned that this wonderful local theatre facility could close.
In my opinion this is a deplorable thought – Littlehampton is a seaside town and it needs a theatre/cinema. It needs facilities for local clubs and societies to entertain not only the residents, but all those people whom the town council and Arun District Council are trying to attract to enjoy Littlehampton.
The authorities realised that, to survive, they sensibly are developing the river areas, but don’t throw that initiative away by dumping the Windmill.
I like Littlehampton.
